Speaking at the ceremony, Pakistan Ambassador to Ankara Qazi noted that the brotherly ties between the Turkish and Pakistani peoples are getting stronger day by day.
A ceremony was held at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Ankara to mark the 81st anniversary of the acceptance of the demands of Muslims in British India to establish an independent state on 23 March 1940 and the laying of the foundations of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The Pakistan National Anthem was read after the Pakistan flag was hoisted at the "March 23 Pakistani National Day" event held in the embassy garden within the scope of new types of coronavirus measures.
"BROTHERHOOD TIES ARE STRENGTHEN"
At the event, which continued with the recitation of the Quran for Pakistani martyrs, the messages of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan were read.
Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, who hosted the program, noted that Turkey and the Turkish people stand by Pakistan in every matter and their brotherly ties are getting stronger day by day.
After the speech of Ambassador Qazi, the program ended with cutting a cake with Turkey and Pakistan flags on it as a sign of Turkey-Pakistan friendship.
