During the visit where the problems experienced by intensive care nurses in the coronavirus pandemic were discussed, the association president Kıraner said that 50,000 intensive care nurses are needed in Turkey.
An online visit was made to Ebru Kıraner, President of the Turkish Intensive Care Nurses Association, in the organization of the Felicity (Saadet) Party Istanbul Provincial Women's Branch, NGO and Public Relations Unit. Saadet Party GİK Member F. Nevin Gökçe, Provincial Vice President Özlem need Serenli, provincial board members Funda Bozkurt and Filiz Ören were present at the meeting, and many important issues were discussed.

Turkish Intensive Care Nurses Association President Ebru Kıraner visited, "It is stated that we are in the second place in Europe in the number of intensive care beds, but we need a minimum of 40-50 thousand intensive care nurses to operate our 20 thousand third level intensive care beds. We have half now. Our colleagues work 12 hours a day, some 24 hours a day. This adversely affects the patient and staff. Nurses working in the public sector are paid at the poverty line, while nurses in private hospitals are paid at the poverty line," she added.
