Felicity (Saadet) Party General Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu and Felicity Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Necdet Gökçınar participated in the press conference held at the Grand Cevahir Hotel.
In the program, where members of the press showed great interest, Felicity leader Karamollaoğlu made important statements on the agenda, while Necdet Gökçınar, the National Vision candidate for Istanbul, answered questions about the upcoming Istanbul elections.
Felicity Party Deputy Chairman Omar Faruk Yazici, Mustafa Kaya, Felicity Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Dr.Abdullah Sevim and Milli Gazete Editor-in-Chief Mustafa Kurdaş were also participated in the program.
Karamollaoğlu asked a question about Binali Yıldırım's visit to the Milli Gazete and his apology from the Felicity Party.
"I appreciate Binali Yıldırım's brain visit, style and kindness. This is what it should be. It was also important that after a long break. It is wrong to create air as if there were two candidates in the election. be taken to the polarization in Turkey with the current system is not appropriate. Right-left conception disappeared after the fall of the Berlin Wall. This was not true either. As a party that takes a friendly approach rather than tension in style, we strive a little more. Although this election was actually of interest to Istanbul, it was as if the whole country was going to election, which caused some tension. This tension began to dissipate slightly with recent statements. In this sense, I would like to thank Mr. Binali Yıldırım for his kindness and style," Karamollaoglu said.
Saadet Leader Karamollaoğlu said that bask we have no idea of withdrawing our candidate. Why should we withdraw our candidate? We are a political party. Who knows who the voter will vote for? The electorate may also show an approach unlike those who ask us to withdraw our candidate. We don't find these things right. Turkey's current system with our hearts are not willing to be taken to be polarized. Equity and justice are fundamental elements in all of our behaviors and policies. We are entering the June 23 election because we believe that we will solve the problems of Istanbul .
“WE ARE NOT ENEMIES”
Answering the question of how the government evaluates the change of discourse against the Felicity Party, Karamollaoğlu said, "It is pleasing news that the bad style against us has stopped. In fact, Mr. President's call for May 19 ceremonies was positive. So we are not enemies, we can be the most competitors. The new electoral system is a dangerous situation for the government. Now he has to get fifty percent plus one. We hear that his system will not continue. But this bad style, slander came from trolls in weight. These trolls are still going on because they earn their livelihood that way."
Karamollaoğlu said, "There is a difference in consultation, merit and democracy between us and the ruling party. We care about them. We're not polarizing. But the other side benefits from polarization. This is damaging our country. We keep prayer together in the mosque, but when we go out we look different. This election constituted the opinion in power, we can sit down and talk, we can talk about problems. I care about that. Because saying we can talk together reduces polarization. Air softening is good. At the same time their visit to the Milli Gazete, their positive statements for us is a message to our base, but this message will not find its place. So there won't be a vote from there."
“WE SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT S-400 POLICY SINCE THE BEGINNING”
Stating that they support the correct policies of the government, Felicity Party President Temel Karamollaoğlu said, "We supported the government's S-400 policy from the beginning. Because the probability of the attack is increasing. The US is aware that its influence will diminish with the new system. The S-400s are our sine qua non, based on the approach of the US and Israel. Turkey took a step back when it does not trust anyone anymore Turkey. It is necessary not to make concessions."
Saadet Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Necdet Gökçınar, who hosted the program, "We tried to talk about the problems in the center of Istanbul as much as possible. The problem of Istanbul is actually the general economic situation. When a factory is closed in Anatolia, this is the problem of Istanbul. Because the unemployed people in Anatolia come to Istanbul to recover. Economy, transportation is almost in the second place. However, these problems should be at the forefront. When we come to power in Istanbul, the people will see this and see how our administration is."
Speaking about the application made for broadcasting TRT, Saadet Party Istanbul Metropolitan Mayoral Candidate Necdet Gokcinar, "TRT, since the candidates are applying their own, we have made our application. It's not a test, it's a sincere reference. We're waiting for an invitation. Let alone TRT hand quickly. 3 days left to vote".
