Birol Aydın, Spokesperson of the Felicity (Saadet) Party, made a statement on Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) deputy Oya Ersoy's statements in the Parliament, which drew reaction against our religious values.
"Unfortunately, in recent days, we have been witnessing the efforts and provocations of the polarizing language of politics to spread to our society. Firstly; We condemn the despicable and foolish attack on the Honor Monument in Samsun by three or five ignorant people. In the same way, we strongly condemn HDP Deputy Oya Ersoy's words, which will never be accepted under the roof of the parliament, but also the statements that go beyond the limits and target our ancestors and religion on the blessed night of Raghaib," he said.
Aydın stated that as Saadet Party, they made a call to everyone.
"As Saadet Party, we make an open call to everyone, especially politicians: Islam, the Ottoman Empire and the Republic… 15 centuries, 5 centuries, and a century ago or today… It doesn't matter; From our national and spiritual values, everyone should withdraw their hands and tongues," he added.
