This week's guest of the Economic and Social Research Center (ESAM) was the former Ambassador of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ahmet Zeki Bulunç. Finding that the Cypriot government is conducting a wrong policy, he warned that there should not be any new rights related to property without resolving the Cyprus problem.

Bulunç began his speech stating that changed the geopolitics, "especially in the area of imperialist policies carried out by the US and Israel are trying to limit the Turkey and the TRNC domain. The number of actors in the Eastern Mediterranean region is increasing. Especially in recent years, global actors such as Russia and China have started to intervene in the region. Russia officially landed in the Eastern Mediterranean. China wants to come to the Eastern Mediterranean. The US felt the need for a new move in the Eastern Mediterranean. Particularly in Cyprus, a consensus that will be reached as a result of the negotiations with the US, but we want to impose on us the process that will ignore our interests, he warned.

Finding, the TRNC government took the wrong steps, political power in the TRNC everyone can come to land and put forward the understanding. Then he started to correct it, but the word came out. There should be no promise to grant new rights to the property without resolving the Cyprus problem. Because the existence of a community is one of the most important criteria for a community to be public. The aim of the Greek Cypriot side in all talks is to reduce the territory of the Turkish side and want to lower us to a minority status.
