Muslims who have been discriminated against in the Islamic law issued in 2015 and other religious communities face various difficulties due to the racist policies carried out under the name of Struggle with Political Islam. In the country where the Burka ban was introduced, some mosques were closed and some imams were deported based on Islamic law. The anti-Islamic government now plans to ban the headscarf for both teachers and students in kindergarten, primary and secondary school.

In other news, the European Court of Human Rights found Belgium to be unfair in 2007 when Hagar Lachiri, who had entered the courtroom with a headscarf in order to test his brother's murder, had been taken out because of the headscarf.
