At an address in Başakşehir, it was determined that the parcels were transported from a box truck with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) logo, Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ) inscription and the words "Maintenance and Repair Vehicle" to another vehicle, and the police seized 112 kilos and 190 grams of cannabis hidden in the boxes.
Four suspects were detained in the operation.
In the statement, "As a result of the examination made by our Administration, the vehicle with the İSKİ and İBB logos is a vehicle that does not belong to our Administration, but belongs to the contractor within the scope of maintenance and repair work. In addition, the persons caught in the vehicle are not employees of İSKİ or the contractor firm. Necessary legal proceedings on the subject have been initiated by our Legal Consultancy and the process is followed by our Administration. It is announced to the public with respect," it was stated.

In October 2021 in Adana, drugs were seized in the funeral transport vehicle with the İBB logo and the İBB was targeted.
However, it was later revealed that the vehicle belonged to the son-in-law of the Albayrak family, the owners of the Yeni Şafak Newspaper, and it was determined that the drivers driving the vehicle were employees of the same company.
