The Ministry of Justice sent 63 records prepared by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against 39 deputies, 32 of whom were People’s Democratic Party (HDP) members, to the Presidency to be presented to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).
53 RECORD FILES ARE OF HDP MEMBERS
53 of the records sent include accusations against 32 HDP deputies. There are 4 records each for HDP Van MPs Sezai Temelli and Muazzez Orhan Işık, and 3 each for HDP Van Deputy Tayip Temel and HDP Batman Deputy Ayşe Acar Başaran. The Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Diyarbakır Deputy Salihe Aydeniz has 4 records.
KILIÇDAROĞLU'S FILE IS ALSO SENT
Among the records sent, there is a file of Republican People’s Party (CHP) Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu for ‘insulting the President’. The record against Democratic Party Ordu Deputy Cemal Enginyurt includes the crimes of "deliberate injury", "public insult" and "threat" against journalist Latif Şimşek in the discussion program. A record prepared about the President of the Victory Party, Ümit Özdağ, was among the files sent.
