A 'Kashmir Black Day Commemoration' was held for occupied Kashmir at the Pakistan Embassy in Ankara. Pakistan Embassy in Ankara held the 75th Kashmir Black Day program. Representatives of non-governmental organizations and think tanks and Kashmiris living in Ankara attended the event.
Speaking on the program, Pakistani Embassy Undersecretary Abbas Sarwar Qureshi underlined that there has not been a single day since 1947 that invading India has not done evil to the people of Kashmir. Expressing that India is trying to silence the Kashmiri people's struggle for freedom and peace by force of arms, Qureshi noted that history is full of examples showing that no execution or plan can destroy the will and determination of the people.
Noting that the Kashmir struggle is more alive and stronger after 75 years of oppression, Qureshi expressed that Kashmiris are determined to achieve the legitimate right of self-determination promised by the UN, Pakistan and India.
THANKED TURKISH PEOPLE FOR THEIR SUPPORT
Stressing that Pakistan will continue its political, moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris, Qureshi noted that they will continue their determination to stand shoulder to shoulder with Kashmiris in their cause of legitimate freedom. Qureshi thanked the Turkish people and government for their principled stance on Kashmir and said that Turkey's support and solidarity in Kashmir is a great source of strength for the millions of oppressed people in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
