Felicity (Saadet) Party Konya Deputy and Head of Youth Branch Abdulkadir Karaduman made important statements about the hot topics of the agenda at the press conference he held in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

Referring to the forest fires experienced all over the country in recent days, Karaduman underlined that it was revealed that the necessary precautions were not taken before the fires, "The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, who had previously said, 'We would know if a lighter shone', almost admits negligence by saying, 'We don't have a fire extinguisher in our inventory,' while our forests are burning. Should all our forests be ash in order to learn lessons and take precautions? Well, how much is a firefighting plane for God's sake? 10 million or 20 million? Turkey can clear the billions of tax debts of the holdings with one pen, but cannot buy a fire extinguisher, right? While there are 16 VIP aircraft and 3 helicopters allocated to the Presidency in Turkey, there is no fire extinguisher aircraft in our inventory. Unfortunately, there is no explanation for this situation," he said.

Karaduman reacted to the murder of a family in Konya and said:

"This incident, which deeply hurt us all, should definitely be clarified in all its aspects and the perpetrators should be punished in the most severe way. No one should dare to drag the country into chaos by playing with nerve endings in Turkey. Despite all the provocations and provocations, we will show the will to live together more strongly, as it has been for a thousand years. We live in a difficult geography, but together we will make our geography livable and we will not allow any focus to bring chaos and enslave us."

Reacting to the fact that the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli did not respond to the parliamentary questions about forest fires, Karaduman said, "I call out to the authorities again; please don't let us feel the 'sadness of being right' anymore, take the necessary precautions at least for the future. While the firefighting continues and the country is on the alert, the Assembly must take the necessary responsibility. In such a process, it is unthinkable that the Assembly would not work. For this reason, the Assembly should immediately convene in an extraordinary way. We have forwarded our written request to the Presidency regarding this matter. However, while this legal investigation process is underway, one should be cautious against cheap provocations. Especially in this sensitive process, authorities should refrain from making statements based on guesses."
