A strange logic prevails among those in power. When we pay attention to the statements made, the opposition is responsible for all kinds of negativities and the shrinkage in the economy, and if there are good things that have been done, the government does not accept them as common. I personally don't understand this logic. Because, especially since the transition to the Presidential system, there is no question that the opposition will be able to do or not, or that the opposition will prevent. When the unity of the People's Alliance continues in the Parliament, the effectiveness of the opposition has already approached zero. Despite this, President Erdogan, in his speech at the three-hour meeting with AK Party deputies, was poisoning the market and manipulating the public with false information.

After this statement, one can't help but ask, if the opposition prevents the nation from seeing the truth with limited opportunities, when we look at the event in terms of the effect on the means of communication, doesn't the government have much more opportunities in forming and directing public opinion? Everyone will answer the question in their own way. However, if the fact that this poisoning was caused by the people's alliance in politics rather than poisoning the public opinion by the opposition, and if this style could be abandoned and the language of embracing would prevail instead of segregation, believe me, not only politics, but our people would be relieved and tension would be relieved. However, it seems that there is a need to create tension in the society in order to cover up the failures, so that the statements made by the power wing are not only discriminating, but also devaluing and belittled. It goes without saying that it is not possible for the country to benefit from this.

In the meantime, it is more than wrong to point out that the opposition is responsible for the poisoning of the market, that is, the imbalance in the exchange rate, the increase in prices and the record breaking of inflation. Because the opposition is not running the country, and the opposition's programs are not being implemented. In short, the opposition does not take decisions about the country. The opposition only expresses the mistakes it has detected in the steps taken according to itself. I think this is the duty of the opposition. If the opposition will not act as a warning by voicing what they think is right, and if it does so to the detriment of the country, then a system without opposition is desired, and then it becomes meaningless to talk about democracy. Moreover, with the Presidential system, the opposition has become ineffective. Most of the time, some decisions do not even need to be passed by the Assembly, and the implementation can be continued with presidential decrees.

In this respect, trying to blame the opposition for the failures in the economy, especially the opposition, may be a desire to avoid the public's attention, as in the choice of a confrontational style.

Let me point out right away that both the government and the opposition may not have been successful in every decision they took. The way to get rid of the wrong that will arise is not to fight and exclude, but to be able to talk and meet. In other words, both the government and the opposition need to be able to tolerate differences. Unless the culture of tolerance for differences prevails in our society, it means that our lives will pass in turmoil. Let alone tolerating differences, at this point, the rulers can easily accuse party leaders who do not think like them of treason and cooperation with terrorists. However, in this country, terrorism and those who participate in it mean that they are committing a crime, and this is determined by the police and the judiciary. In other words, if the judiciary does not have a decision about a politician that that politician and the party he belongs to are with a terrorist organization, does it not make the person who makes such an accusation a criminal? Because if people start to see the right to judge people in themselves, chaos will prevail in that country. As a result, since there will be no democracy without opposition, we have to assimilate tolerance to differences with the government and opposition. Those who act against the law should be held accountable by the judiciary. Otherwise, arbitrariness spreads.
