NATO was supposedly established to prevent invasions and attacks on earth, it was claimed. However, the USA is seen as the country that has a say in NATO, so it is not possible to take and implement a decision that the USA does not say yes to. In a way, just as a resolution that is not accepted by the 5 permanent members of the Security Council in the UN does not become valid, some countries, especially the USA, have the privileges in NATO. Drawing attention to this situation, retired Lieutenant General Erdoğan Karakuş, in his statement in a newspaper earlier this month, under the headline "NATO also wants Turkey in Afghanistan", stated that the USA and NATO wanted Turkey to stay in Afghanistan for their own interests, adding that China drew attention to the opposition of Russia and India.

Earlier, in this column, we brought up the question of what the US has been doing in Afghanistan for more than 20 years. I think it would be useful to emphasize once again that the statements they made while withdrawing, just like the claims they made during the invasion, to liberate Afghanistan, did not reflect the truth. Because it has now been clearly seen that it is known that the imperialists' calls for democracy and freedom are only aimed at protecting their own interests. In this case, it is not unknown to anyone that it is against our country to be seen side by side, let alone walking arm in arm with the USA, whether on behalf of NATO or in the name of friends and alliances(!). Not only in Afghanistan, but also in our region, the reason for the existence of the USA and its allies for years is not only to keep the countries of the region permanently condemned to them.

It doesn't take much effort to see and know that only after the invasion of Iraq, this country was disintegrated, and that they invaded Syria with the claims of saving civilians from the Assad massacres and handed them over to the terrorist organizations they formed. In addition, neutralizing a terrorist organization when necessary and being launched when needed is always a result of the same tactic. Beyond that, the YPG's being revealed under the mask of fighting the PKK terrorist organization that has plagued Turkey for over 40 years, and then the DAESH terrorist organization that was revealed when Syria was mixed up, is always part of the same scenario. Let me just state that let the USA and its supporters not want the DEASH terrorist organization to be eradicated, on the contrary, they are constantly giving weapons and ammunition to the PKK/YPG terrorist organizations in our region indirectly in order to keep them alive; not only that, in the words of President Erdogan, "The United States is currently supporting terrorist organizations much more than expected." As it is understood from this statement that was reflected in the media, we do not object to the support given by the USA to terrorist organizations, but to the amount. It seems that we have digested the USA's love of terrorism and walking side by side with terrorist organizations. In the days when President Erdoğan announced that the USA supported terrorist organizations, it was reported in the media that a PKK delegation was hosted at the White House, that the terrorists met with Biden's team, and that the US officials promised to support the terrorist organization and stay in Syria.

The news about the USA's love of terrorism was not limited to these. Again, in the past two days, the US defense budget of 778 billion dollars was approved in the House of Representatives, and the bill also envisions 177 million dollars in aid to the PKK/YPG under the pretext of fighting against ISIS in Syria. I don't know, do I need more words to explain that we should stand side by side with the USA and avoid being seen?
