I wonder if the United Nations Organization has a serious function and especially an action to prevent conflicts and ensure peace in the world. Because the United Nations Organization only occasionally publishes some figures on conflict zones or countries where unrest prevails. Its work does not go beyond that. However, beyond publishing the list of those who lost their lives in the conflicts in our region, unfortunately, it has no activity to prevent conflicts on earth and to stop conflicts. In order not to be unfair by saying no, the UN Secretary-General makes occasional visits to conflict zones and countries, and then makes some statements. The statements made do not go beyond hope. However, it is not possible to prevent conflicts in the world with certain wishes.

I would like to explain what I said by quoting two news in the newspapers the previous day. The first news was in the newspapers under the headline "UN: Greece pushed 17 thousand immigrants". In other words, the boats of immigrants, who set out from their countries to Europe and were cut off by the Greek Coast Guard in the Mediterranean, were pushed back by blowing their boats, that is, they were left to die. In short, it is the news of a murder committed hundreds, even thousands, by Greece. So, is the UN's task only to determine and announce the number of murders committed? Isn't the primary duty of the UN to prevent such murders and, if necessary, to impose sanctions on such countries? If the UN's unrest consists of watching the unrest and announcing the numbers of murders from time to time, wouldn't it be wrong to call such an organization the United Nations? Because the job is to announce the murders with some numbers.

Again, the second news about the UN was in the newspaper under the heading "UN: 800 Syrians are returning to their homes every week". The content of the news stated, “A UN official stated that although the conditions were not suitable, the returns continued on a voluntary basis.” However, the statement that the UN official should make should indicate that the security of the returning Syrians is ensured where they go, and the fact that they are returning in unfavorable conditions shows that the UN is undertaking a task like a statistical institution in this regard. They do not take any action to ensure that those people continue their return voluntarily. They have transferred this duty to the countries of the region, especially Turkey. While the countries of the region cannot fulfill their responsibilities to their own people due to the economic conditions they are in, they have to think about the refugees. As such, once again, the United Nations Organization said, “What good are you? One cannot help saying "There is no need for such an organization to explain statistical information".

Let me point out right away that the organization, which carries out a similar task, carries out similar work not only in the UN, but also in NATO and the EU. In short, ostensible organizations have been created, they only engage in activities to facilitate the work of the colonizers, or they seem to be operating. In this respect, it does not seem possible to prevent the oppression and suffering of the oppressed on earth without changing the current world order. Because colonial powers benefit from every turn of the wheels of global capitalism. Even the deaths of millions of people to make it serve their own interests do not get their attention. In conclusion, it would be useful to repeat our opinion that the current structure of the UN should be changed urgently. Of course, the same can be said for NATO. In the meantime, the European Union needs to be saved from being a Crusader alliance as soon as possible.
