The text of the Constitution for Transition to the Strengthened Parliamentary System was announced by the Nation Alliance yesterday. In this statement, which lasted for about an hour, one person from each of the 6 parties of the Nation Alliance gave information about the new constitution. The meeting passed with great maturity from start to finish. Members of any party did not even raise the tone of their voices unnecessarily.

As the program continues, the first thing that comes to my mind is that it is possible to hold political meetings without quarrels and insults. Because for years, almost every issue has been turned into a reason for discussion, especially the People's Alliance parties seem to have made it their primary duty to put all the blame on the opposition and while doing this, to devalue the opposition parties.

There is no question that this attitude will change in the future, but the preparations of the Nation Alliance, which consists of 6 parties, and the attitude they displayed while presenting the new arrangement to the nation made me personally happy. Kavkasız also reminded the fact that it is possible for the parties to express their opinions. Because an image appeared that had almost forgotten how to speak without a fight.

One of the reasons for this was that the ruling wing chose a fighting style in order to avoid the attention of the public on every issue brought up by the opposition, and the other party inevitably had to raise their voices in order to convey what they said to the nation. Let me state right away that despite this, the Nation Alliance preferred peace rather than fighting, embrace rather than separation. This preference showed itself in the text of the new main text and in the presentation of the text.

In a way, it was clearly seen during the new constitution text presented by the Nation Alliance to the nation that there is no need to shout, fight or belittle the other person in order to present our truth to the society. In short, just remembering the debates that were reflected in the media during the deliberations in the National Assembly commissions in the last budget negotiations showed that in fact, not all parties hope for help from the fight, and that it is possible to present their views and thoughts to both their interlocutors and the society with a certain courtesy.

In this regard, I determined the title as "Politicians can speak without fighting". Because, of course, during my long years as a reporter for the Parliament, we also witnessed very harsh discussions. However, even if all politicians could not control their temper, they expressed their views within the limits of criticism without insulting them.

My point is not to express my nostalgia for the past. However, if the attitude of the Nation Alliance in yesterday's meeting was a lesson to those who hoped for help from fighting, I think it was not only a matter of presenting a new constitution, but I think it was shown that there is no need for a fight in presenting the works to the nation.

Because the duty of political parties is to make peace and tranquility prevail in the country, not fighting. Beyond that, it is to present the problems of the country and the solution of these problems to the nation. While doing this, there is no need to underestimate others and in this way, there is no need for ego satisfaction.

Let me immediately point out that the presentation of the text of the Constitution for the Transition to the Strengthened Parliamentary System prepared by the Nation Alliance was completely within these dimensions, and we know that there was absolutely no attitude that would mean you wouldn't understand this. In this respect, yesterday's meeting not only offered solutions to the problems that arose in the system with the text prepared for our people who were thirsty for peace, but also showed that it is possible to reach peaceful days.

I think that in the days and months ahead, a lot will be said about the text of the new constitution and our nation will make the final decision. Despite this, the fact that our people were shown that peaceful days are about to come has emerged as a separate positive development.
