Election periods and campaigns should actually be the periods in which the problems of the country are discussed and jointly sought solutions. But election campaigns in recent years have lost this characteristic. The ruling party is responsible for this. In each election period, the persistently polarising, discriminating manner of the ruling wing and supporter of the party make the preference especially like that? Couldn’t they think that this discriminating campaign will ruffle country’s feathers? It is impossible that they couldn’t think. In this case, it is thinkable that the reason of this parsing language is that it might be possible to hide the problems of the country from the society and prevent them from being discussed.
Another logical reason doesn’t come to mind that persistently the parties that have taken the half of the votes in previous elections are promoted with terrorists by being put in a bag. While the society is streching, problems are pushed under the carpet. In the meantime, only what the ruling wing said remains on the agenda. For example when the spokespersons of the power said that they took the number of universities from where to where, they did not leave a province without a university, it couldn’t be argued that the rate of unemployed people with a diploma is 34 percent according to TÜİK data. Because the opponent parties, especially the Saadet Party are trying to eplain to the society that they aren’t in an existence of togetherness. The ruling party spokespersons say that they get 52 percent of votes in every opportunity but they think that they get out of it by not explaining the reason of why they didn’t go to the elections in all provinces and districts. In a way, they are hiding the negations and the urgent problems that are waiting to be solved.
The society see only the part of what the power shows them. Consequently, the problems are becoming difficult to solve when they are pushed under the carpet. The problems become gangrene. Even if we look at the issue only in terms of the universities opened and the unemployed with diploma, the seriousness of the topic is seen. Of course, it is important to increase the number of universities and for every young person who wants to study at a university to find a university. But if every person who wants to study cannot find a job after graduating from high education, the number of unemployed diplomats will increase. Social explosions that will show up will cause serious damage to the country. Then, we wish that it wasn’t be too late when those who demand votes from elector by boasting that they had opened more universities see that they are dragging the country into a serious problem. Someone don’t show up and say that is there anyone couldn’t find a job when they wanted to work in this country and don’t recommend that our young people who had taken a high education and received their diploma to peddle on streets. Because this call is wrong, misleading and even hurt.
Let me say that if one works by sustaing with honor, can do every job. But, having a high education also means raising oneself in an area. In this case, it is the duty of the government to create possibility for these people to work in a field where they are trained. Maybe, instead of guiding high schools graduates to universities it is necessary to direct young people from secondary school to vocational schools to obtain a profession after primary school in order to meet the need for intermediate staff. Lately, there are some studies in this direction but for the issue is carried out by decisions without sitting down, it couldn’t be a definite solution. This may not be blane of today’s power but isn’t it necessary to discuss the fact that a political party which had been in power for 16 years alone has not yet found a solution to this problem? Instead of discussing the issue, the power is still trying to overlook the problems by using a language that separates society.
