Covid-19 pandemic negatively affected the economies of almost all countries. It introduced inflation to those who did not know about it. Of course, countries that have been accustomed to the course of prices at a certain point in its countries for many years started to experience a panic atmosphere when inflation rose to around 7 percent. Or they are not, we are experiencing that state of panic. For example, a newspaper article was given under the headline "Inflation in the USA is at the peak of 40 years". Of course, as soon as you see the title, one wonders if the inflation at the peak of these forty years has gone. You can see that the inflation rate in the news is 7 percent. Besides, in another newspaper's headline about inflation, it was said, "High inflation is the nightmare of the world". The latest inflation figures of various countries were listed on the news.

Accordingly, the inflation figures of some countries that have become the nightmare of the world were listed in a chart. Accordingly, while inflation in the USA was 1.4 percent in 2020, it became 7 percent in 2021. While the average in the Eurozone was 0.9 percent in 2020, it was 5. percent in 2021. Germany was 0.4 percent in 2020, 5.3 percent in 2021, while France was 0.5 percent in 2020, 3.4 percent in 2021, Spain While it was 0.3 percent in 2020, 6.7 percent in 2021, Italy 0.5 percent in 2020, 4.2 percent in 2021, the Netherlands 1.3 percent in 2020, 6.4 percent in 2021, Belgium 2020 It was 0.74 percent in 2021 and 6.5 percent in 2021.

These figures are given in the media as either that inflation has peaked or that high inflation has become the world's nightmare. On the other hand, our country's 2021 inflation was 14.60 percent in 2020, while it was 36.08 percent in 2021 according to official figures. However, this figure has never been described as a nightmare or a peak. It was presented as if it were quite natural, and it is still approached that way.

In short, the inflation figures, which are regarded as a nightmare in the world, are not even considered worthy of attention in our country for some reason. When this happens, one involuntarily asks himself, "Isn't there something wrong with this?" she can't help but ask. There isn't much to answer. As a country, we are used to high inflation. An air is blowing as if we would be disturbed by the fact that it descends rather than ascends. Of course, there is an explanation for this situation. For example, in developing countries like ours, it is possible to attribute the economy to the pressure exerted on the colonial countries either directly or indirectly.

There are some decisions to prevent the rise of the dollar among the measures taken by the government to prevent the sudden price increases. Despite all the measures, there is no return in price increases of up to one hundred percent that occurred within two months, and price increases continue in various fields. In short, the understanding that “without being independent in the economy, full political independence would be difficult” emerges.

So how is economic independence achieved? For this, as a nation, it is necessary to make a production move, especially to ensure technological development, to carry out the heavy industry move, and to get rid of foreign dependence, especially in some areas. So is this impossible? Personally, I do not think that our country is inadequate in terms of various opportunities, especially people. However, it is negligent to use the existing opportunities in production-oriented investment areas. Perhaps, some outside circles and global capital are abusing our need for them and blocking us with some obstacles in order to continue their exploitation.

The heavy industry move initiated by the late Erbakan Hodja in the 1970s also disturbed some global capital circles and dragged our country into the chaos of February 28 through its domestic puppets. What I mean is that, first of all, we have to break through these foreign attacks, and for this we have to be built from needing the US dollar. Otherwise, while the 7 percent inflation rate in the USA is considered the peak, the 36 percent inflation rate in our country is not taken too seriously. But this situation makes our country more and more dependent on foreign countries. In this respect, we should look at ourselves, see that our situation is much worse than them, and take steps accordingly, instead of declaring the 7% inflation in the USA as a nightmare for the world and declaring it as the world's nightmare.
