After George Floyd, who died as a result of police violence in Minneapolis in the USA, protests continue both in the country and in the world. It is necessary to think about the incident not to be contented with the protests on the reaction caused by the police killing a black man by applying pressure to his neck. Because black hostility in the US, or rather humiliation of blacks, is not new. We can say that there is a genocide behind the establishment of the USA. Because the European white man has applied a genocide on the continent from the day they first came to America.
The continents were emptied of the locals as a result of the massacre and European whites were settled in the lands that were emptied. I do not know exactly how long the indigenous people are staying in the American continent today, but the remaining ones are isolated from societies and thrown into deserted corners. Not only that, the European white men who migrated to the American continent also carried the people they would employ in the fields they captured by destroying the indigenous people from Africa through the slave traders. These people brought from Africa had a single duty, they were sentenced to work on their master's farm, to ensure their comfort, and to continue their lives with a piece of bread given to them. At this point, the question of whether the white men made the calculation of the bread they gave to the black people brought from Africa. Maybe they thought, but they might not have asked those people to die because they needed it. Because those who destroyed millions of Native Indian people could not be expected to have mercy on the blacks they brought from Africa. Despite all the time that has passed, black people obviously did not even count them as they are considered second class people.
In short, the basis of the formation of the USA is the massacre of millions of real owners of that land. In the system created to protect its own interests, the location of blacks has not been determined exactly. Until recently, it will be very mild to say that the US system was founded on violence if it is remembered that dogs and blacks cannot enter the doors of some restaurants. At this point, I would like to convey the assessment made by the US black activist, New York Councilor Charles Barron, about the events that broke out after the last murder: "The opposite programs he created to destroy self-defensive movements like Malcolm X have been killed."
Barron said, "I have been warning for many years, violence is inevitable if peaceful methods for change are ignored or rejected."
He violates human rights whenever he sees us, acts brutally, stops and interrogates against the Constitution, they must be punished according to the law.” At this point, I think Barron's well-intentioned approach does not make much sense considering that the laws in the USA are not taken to protect the rights of blacks, but to make whites superior. Because the European white man has never seen the indigenous people and the black people since they first came to the continent, since they never counted the people. As such, the mindset needs to change first. Barron reminds his words, "The capitalist system of the U.S. Achilles community is". Since it is known that this will not change in a short time, those who favor the US brutality must oppose the right and law together. Because the capitalist understanding of the USA, which accepts money as an idol, can only be overcome with power. Otherwise, discourses such as human rights and equality are doomed to stay in the air.
