The rector of 189 universities in Turkey signed the declaration condemning the attacks of the Zionist network Israel against the Palestinian people. The declaration, which was announced to the public at a press conference held at OSTIM Technical University, was read in three languages, Turkish, Arabic and English.
In the statement, it was stated that Israel disregarded human rights in its attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip, "As university rectors, we appeal to the international community due to the ongoing bloody attacks, attacks, destruction and evacuations should be stopped within the framework of the principles of international human rights law of the United Nations, and the necessary support should be given to the Palestinian society without delay in order to establish a sovereign state that guarantees the right to live with dignity," it was said.

“We invite Israel to fulfill its duties and to stop the attacks by taking a clear stand against the legal and inhumane pressures and attacks. We also demand that those responsible be tried and that the damage of the Palestinian people be compensated. We, the signatories of this declaration, declare that we respectfully support the struggle of Palestinians to live with dignity and protect their property rights, which are the most natural human right, and that we will always stand by them. In addition, we respectfully inform the international public that we are ready to undertake all kinds of humanitarian duties, including mediation, to stop the bloodshed and end the attacks on Palestinians.
