Even though the occupation is over, life difficulties continue in Afghanistan, which has had very difficult times due to the years-long attacks of the USA. Afghan people, who live under difficult living conditions in the country, which has a serious foreign debt, are in urgent need of humanitarian aid. It is stated that eighteen million people are in need of help in Afghanistan, where nearly forty million people live. It is recorded that there are approximately one million orphans in the country, where the number of women and children in need of urgent assistance reaches fourteen million.

AFGHANISTAN, ONE OF THE WORLD'S POOREST COUNTRIES

According to the information provided by INSAMER regarding the humanitarian conditions in Afghanistan, Afghanistan, with a per capita income of 580 dollars, is among the poorest countries in the world. While it is stated that half of the country's population is in need of urgent assistance, the unemployment rate in the country is around twenty-five percent and the poverty rate is around thirty-five percent. Factors such as foreign interventions, political instability and mismanagement, civil war, security problems and insufficient agricultural lands are among the causes of the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
