AGD held the Extra Regional and Branch Presidents' Meeting in April. Speaking at the meeting, AGD President Salih Turhan has made important statements of the increasing debate on atheism and deism.
SOCIAL BONDS DISCONTINUED
Recognizing that the rate of young unemployed university graduates is over 20 percent, Turhan said, "In 2017, 52 uneducated teacher candidates committed suicide. While 109 thousand teachers are open, 20 thousand assignments are being made. In 2017 more than 50 people who were exported to the KHK committed suicide. Fear of hunger, inability to find work, to take home bread, to worry about not having a warm home triggers suicides. As suicide victims put an end to their lives, the survivors are suffering other traumas. Social ties are being solved. It is necessary to analyze it well."
WE NEED THE RESPECT
Turhan pointed out that young people who felt themselves worthless and could not find a way out had chosen the way to suicide, and continued to say: "There are not a few who are stuck in drug trafficking among our young people as they are looking for suicides. Turkey In Turkey, 81 thousand 222 in 2016, according to the Drug Report drug cases occurred. 100,000 suspects were caught in these incidents. Of course, these figures are figures that can be determined. We do not even want to imagine what can not be detected. On the other hand, in recent years, family ties have been tanned by laws that are issued on behalf of family protection. Women and men need compassion, love and respect for each other before the law."
OUR GOAL IS NOT TO DETECT EVIL
Turhan pointed out that there is not a machine that will continue to work when the bolts are tightened. Turan said, "We have not been able to get migrants to the city, migrant and compulsory education, difficult living conditions, stagnation in apartments, unmannalization of land, landless manure, agriculture and animal husbandry, bank loans, television series; when we put all these things on top of it, marriages, childbearings and divorces are reduced to confrontational legal regulations. The capitalist system wants to see the individuals that it can control with financial sanctions, not the families with strong ties to it. Our cause is not to identify the evils. Our cause is to show the way to the beauty, to the goodness; goodness is to strive for beauty and to have beauty in goodness."
WE SHOULD ESTABLISH A JUSTICE ENVIRONMENT
Underlining that the West continued to dominate every territory, Turhan said: "Has this superiority of the West brought peace and justice to the earth? Of course no. We fought two world wars over the past century. Millions of people died, millions of people lost their various organs, the hurdles joined the army. Thousands of cities, villages, dwellings, hospitals, businesses have become unrecognizable. The occupation of Israel in Palestine, the US in Afghanistan continues. Muslims, who are basically the problem of geographical and mental fragmentation, must gather around the Milli Görüş, a project to remove these fragmentations from the middle. Our duty is not to force Muslims to be Muslims, whether they are Muslims or not, to protect the rights of all people, to establish justice among all people."
