AGD aims to leave a green and healthy world to the next generations with the sapling planting event that started in the whole country between April 6 and April 20.
Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) is organizing another meaningful event. With the sapling planting activity initiated by the AGD Headquarters Secondary Schools Commission, the importance of sensitivity to nature and the environment throughout the country will be conveyed, especially to the middle school youth. The sapling planting event, which started in Ankara, will be held throughout the country between April 6 and April 20.
"WE SHOW OUR SENSITIVITY IN EVERY CONDITION"
Making a statement about the event, AGD Vice President Mustafa Sinan Gökçe emphasized the importance of the event, "As the Anatolian Youth Association Secondary Schools Commission, we are aware of our responsibilities towards the universe, environment, people and itself; sensitive to its history, age and future; has labor in spreading brotherhood, compassion, love and goodness; determined in the establishment of justice; We have the consciousness of being knowledgeable, faithful and hardworking young people. Due to our belief, we put forward our sensitivity to nature and the environment in every condition and time. The saying, "Bring the sapling in your hands to its soil, even if you see the Day of Judgment," is a word that should be understood for all humanity in a hadith of our Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). In this context, we set out by taking the word of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) as a principle and we want to instill environmental awareness in all our youth, he said.
"WE RAISE GENERATIONS THINKING 100 YEARS LATER"
AGD Ankara Branch President Ahmet Şanver, "If you think 1 year ahead, plant seeds, if you think 10 years later, plant seedlings, if you think 100 years ahead, raise people. As members of an organization that is more than half a century old, we continue our effort to raise generations that protect the nature of today, are sensitive to the environment and think 100 years ahead," he said.
