The urgent need for humanitarian aid continues in Syria, our border neighbor, where pain and tears have not ceased. Especially in the rural areas of Afrin, people are struggling to survive under difficult conditions due to intense winter conditions. Cansuyu Aid and Solidarity Association, which has organized many aid organizations since the first day of the persecution in Syria, took action again. Emergency aid trucks set out from all over Turkey passed through Öncüpınar Border Gate and moved towards Syria. Cansuyu teams mobilized to heal the wounds in the region; they will deliver emergency humanitarian aid to victims and needy families in many areas, especially in heating, shelter and clothing needs.

THE COLDEST DAYS OF LAST YEARS ARE EXPERIENCED

Mehmet Savaş, Ankara Representative of the Cansuyu Association, who made statements about the emergency aid organization, noted that they are with the victims and needy people in Syria. Savaş said, “Unfortunately, the sad picture in Syria continues. People are desperately waiting for help in Syria, which has experienced the coldest winter of recent years with the rain and snow downpours. We, as the Cansuyu Association, set off to Syria again to support our brothers and sisters. Our emergency aid trucks, prepared with the support of our donors from many regions of Turkey, passed through the Öncüpınar Border Gate and moved towards the region. Hopefully, we will deliver our aid to our victims and needy brothers in Syria."
