It was seen that only one officer worked in the passport section of Ben Gurion, Israel's only international airport, for arrivals from abroad.

In normal times, only a few people were captured by AA cameras at a point where hundreds of people wait in line for passports to enter the country.

There is congestion in the international exit section of Ben Gurion Airport.

Many people have to wait at the airport for hours due to canceled flights.

Speaking to AA correspondent at the airport, Michał Paprota said that they came to Israel with a group of tourists from Poland and their return flight was yesterday.

Paprota stated that they had to wait at the airport because their flights were cancelled.

"There are also women and children in our group. People are worried about what is happening. Since our flight was canceled, we contacted the Polish authorities and they provided us with a plane for today. We hope to board the plane to return to our country soon," Paprota said.
