With approaching the March 31, 2019 local elections, participations began to the Saadet Party.
Saadet Party was the address of the mayors who were not satisfied with the established alliances. In many provinces and districts, mayors have now joined the Saadet Party with reacting to the People's Alliance.
In the 2009 and 2014 local elections, Abdülhakim Ayhan, who was elected as the Mayor of Şanlıurfa Akçakale, resigned from Ak Party and joined Saadet Party. Ayhan was the Mayor of Sanliurfa. He was born in 1974 and graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Pharmacy. Ayhan is married and has 3 children. He speaks Russian, Kurdish and Arabic.
