The ruling municipalities, where waste and corruption peak, are trying to close their tax debts by selling municipal immovables. According to the special information and document received by the Milli Gazete, Çekmeköy Municipality paid its tax debt of nearly 12 million lira by transferring the schools in the district to the Treasury with a similar method. Previously, many AKP municipalities had transferred mosques and service areas to the Treasury in return for their debts.
The AKP's Çekmeköy Municipality transferred the school in the district to the Treasury in return for a tax debt of approximately 12 million TL. Taşdelen İMKB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was sold to the National Real Estate Department and registered in the name of the Treasury.

SAADET MUNICIPALITIES PAY THE DEBTS WITH THE MUNICIPALITY FACILITIES
The government, which owes its own municipalities, is trying every way to prevent the municipalities of the Felicity (Saadet) Party. After the 6.8 magnitude earthquake that took place in Elazig, the Ministry of Interior provided financial aid to district and town municipalities. While the ministry sent 500 thousand lira of aid to the AKP and MHP municipalities, it did not give any allowance to the Yazıkonak Municipality of the Saadet Party. Felicity Mayor Hatif Çadırcı, who took over the Yazıkonak Municipality with a loan of 10 million lira, paid the majority of the debt left by the ruling party.
