Tokat Municipality allowed the opening of an entertainment venue with live music right next to the shrine of Sheikh Meknun and stepped back from its disrespectful decision after intense reaction from public.
The scandal decision was canceled after the reflection of the incident to the media and the spread of the public reaction.
After the cancellation of decision which is ignores Islamic and social values, the people of Tokat city asked the mayor of the city to remove the public toilets right next to the tomb.
