Good (IYI) Party Chairwoman Meral Akşener made evaluations on the agenda at the weekly group meeting of her party in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM). Akşener, who harshly criticized the government, blamed Nureddin Nebati, the Minister of Treasury and Finance. Reacting to the decision made for Pınar Gültekin's murderer, Akşener said, “They are applying an unfair provocation discount to a murderer who brutally took our Pınar daughter from us. Shame on him.”
“WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STATE CRISIS”
Akşener, who reacted to the disinformation law prepared by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and accepted by the Justice Commission, added, “They brought a ban called the social media law. What, they were going to prevent fake news. What, social media is a liar. This law is the law to bring websites into line. This law is an effort to create a new RTÜK.” Akşener continued: “Unfortunately, we are in the middle of a state crisis that is getting deeper and deeper today, in the incompetent hands of the AKP government. Today, they make people search for freedom, right and conscience with a candle in Turkey. Today, they are using law and justice for dirty purposes in Turkey.”
