In the statement, he stated that the inflation figures should be reduced to single digits with the efforts made for price stability, and called for the improvements to be made to the fixed income citizens to increase the purchasing power and said, “Additional improvement creates strength, not a burden.”

While the November inflation announced by TURKSTAT was 2,88 percent, July-November inflation was 14,05 percent and annual inflation was 84,39 percent. Making a statement on his social media account after the inflation figures announced, Memur-Sen Confederation Chairman Ali Yalçın pointed out that the biggest threat to the inflation figures is the citizens with fixed income, and said, "With the efforts made for price stability in coordination with the steps taken in the field of investment-employment-production-export and growth, inflation figures should be reduced to single digits. High inflation, as a threat, is the enemy of fixed incomes the most.”

“REGULATIONS TO RELIEVE FIXED INCOME MUST BE DONE”

Emphasizing that important steps have been taken with the contracted personnel arrangement, which will include more than 424 thousand contracted personnel and an additional indicator arrangement covering 5 million 300 thousand public servants, Yalçın said, “We believe that our state, which sees the problems and produces solutions, will also find a solution to the inflation problem with additional improvements that will compensate for the losses. By adding a new one to the positive steps taken in 2022; Additional improvements should be made that will crown Turkey's Century, boost Turkey, and relieve fixed incomes. The purchasing power of payroll workers should be increased in the face of increases such as rent and food. We believe that our public servants, who are the main subjects in the provision of state services, will not be forgotten in the 2023 target that Turkey has been longing for years; We want it to be known that additional improvements to our public servants will not burden our state, but will create strength.”
