All Specialized Sergeant and Pensioners Association (TUZED) Chairman Ömer Doğan conveyed their best wishes to the new Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya and said that they are waiting for a solution to the problems of the expert sergeants.
"We expect improvements in the personnel rights of our fellow sergeants, including the professional security of our sergeants and the granting of an advanced degree to our retired sergeant friends," he said.
"First of all, we wish success to our new Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler and new Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, along with approximately 215,000 expert sergeants and retired friends serving in the Turkish Armed Forces. This community expects positive news from them. We expect improvements in the personnel rights of our fellow sergeants, including the professional security of our sergeants and the granting of an advanced degree to our retired sergeant friends. While we wish our ministers success in their new duties, we also want them to hear that we expect them not to remain indifferent to our grievances," Doğan added.
“OUR RIGHTS MUST BE IMPROVED”
Doğan stated that until now, all the retired sergeants who served in the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) have been struggling to improve their personal rights and to eliminate their grievances.
"We want our state and our Ministry of National Defense's expert sergeants to be given professional security by putting them in active duty status. Apart from this, we demand that our retired friends be given a raise, as was given to our expert sergeants who retired in 2016. In addition to this, we want our expert sergeant friends to be given an admirable degree by making adjustments for one time only," Doğan said.
