The Islamophobic fascist movement in India is called Hindutva. Hindutva members, who have a similar understanding with Zionism and fascism, consider themselves superior to other members of the society and exclude those who are not from their own.
The origins of Hindutva ideology, which forms the basis of Islamophobia in India, date back to the early 1920s. According to Hindutva, India is the land of Hindus and has a history of nearly a thousand years.
The ideology in question, which defines Muslims and Christians as foreigners, regards these communities as an immigrant foreigner. The ideology called Hindutva, which was introduced in 1923, had a formation a few years later.
This formation was also the first steps of the Indian National Party, which is in power today. The racists, who saw themselves as Hindutva, had only one goal: to make India a country dominated only by the Indians.
A MOVE IN LINE WITH HINDUTVA: CITIZENSHIP LAW
In India, where Islamophobia is practiced in the darkest tones, a law has been enacted in recent years.
Namendra Modi's party BJP, which holds the ruling power in India, signed the controversial decision called the "Citizenship Act" in line with the Hindutva ideology.
Accordingly, Indian citizenship was promised to Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Cainists, Zoroastrians and Buddhists who were persecuted in countries such as Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, but Muslims were excluded.
Since the BJP came to power in India in 2014, Muslim Indian citizens have been viewed as second-class people.
FACIST HINDUTVA IDEOLOGY: "INDIA BELONGS TO THE HINDUS"
The "Citizenship Law", which determined the condition of being a citizen of India as a religion, excluded Muslims from being eligible for naturalization.
It is considered as a step towards the dream of an India where Muslims do not live, with the law openly discriminating against Muslims.
Considering that the number of Muslims in India is not to be underestimated, the severity of the steps to be taken in the direction of Hindutva can also be seen.
Because Indian nationalists, who have the "India belongs to the Hindus" mentality, can do anything to rid the country of Muslims.
HINDUTVA, A FRIENDLY IDEOLOGY WITH ZIONISM
Hindutva, which means Indian nationalism, has a close relationship with Zionism. The works of Dimodar Savarka, who is known as the father of Hindutva and had a serious influence on Narendra Modi, salutes Zionism.
Saying that the Zionists will take their side in a possible war between India and Pakistan, Savarka is also known as the name that put pressure on the Indian government of the time to recognize Israel.
ANTI-ISLAMIC ACTIVITIES BROUGHT BY HINDUTVA
With the "Citizenship Law" enacted in India, tens of thousands of Muslims were imprisoned simply for wearing Islamic clothing or having a beard. Tens of thousands of Muslim girls were deprived of their right to education.
Many mosques were destroyed and looted by government forces. Everything related to Muslims was attacked. In short, the Muslim people of India are under existential attack. There are 100 million Muslims living in India.
According to some estimates, it reaches 250 million. In Hindutva-dominated country, Muslims are forced into marriage with non-Muslims. This is only considered an attack on Muslims because of their faith.
