Under the charges filed by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor’s Office and submitted to Istanbul's 13th Penal Court, the 35 suspects will face trial on April 20.

They are accused of planning to carry out terror attacks at a Turkish parliament facility, the ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party's Ankara office and near a mosque in Istanbul’s Kucukcekmece district.

The prosecutor seeks prison terms of up to 15 years for the suspects. Of the 35, 28 are currently in jail pending trial while a court summons has been issued for the other seven.

A total of 277 people have lost their lives in Daesh terror attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bomb attacks, rocket attacks, and long-barreled gun attacks.
