The program, which was held online due to the pandemic, will take place face-to-face for the first time in 2 years. The Conquest of Istanbul and Conquest March program, which will be organized this year with the motto "Step by Step in the Footsteps of Ancestors", will begin with the Hagia Sophia Mosque meeting on Saturday, May 28.

In the statement made by AGD regarding the program, while all citizens were invited to the Conquest of Istanbul program, it was stated that the conquest of Istanbul gave direction to the world.
"This blessed conquest, which closed an era and opened a new one, also contains the best answers against the dirty minds attacking Islam and terrorism trying to spread Islamophobia. The Conquest of Istanbul reminded the whole world that Islam is a government that makes goodness, beauty, justice, truth, brotherhood and tolerance prevail," the statement said.

It was pointed out that the conquest highlighted the importance of the youth in history, and it was stated that the youth continued their struggle.
"The conscious youth of our ummah have never shied away from fulfilling their responsibilities throughout the history of humanity and have struggled with unwavering determination with the support of scholars and worshipers," the statement added.
CONQUEST MARCH TOWARDS BEYAZIT SQUARE
The program will be held at the Hagia Sophia Mosque on May 28, followed by a reunion at Fatih Mosque for the afternoon prayer, followed by the Conquest Walk towards the main program in Beyazıt Square. The program, which will be held in the square at 17.30, will end after the program.
Within the scope of the program, world champions Mehmet Bilir and Muhsin Kara will perform Quran recitation, Ömer Karaoğlu and Group Anadolu Youth melodies.
In the program where mehteran and theater performances will be held, the consciousness of conquest will be explained with the participation of the leaders of the Ummah from the Islamic world and speeches.
