AGD declared the cities of Bursa and Diyarbakır as sister cities and signed a joint online meeting of branch heads.
Unwanted demonstrations at the football match in Bursa came to the fore.
While many politicians made statements after the demonstrations, the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) called for brotherhood against the demonstrations with a meaningful work.
The "Brotherhood Meeting" meeting, which was held online by the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD), Diyarbakir Branch management and Bursa Branch management, was held with the title "The Only Solution is Brotherhood".
While Bursa and Diyarbakır were announced as sister cities at the meeting, it was stated that consultations were held at the meeting on activities that would strengthen the ties between the sister cities.
“BROTHERHOOD IS THE ONLY SOLUTION”
Making a statement regarding the events in the football match, AGD Chairman Salih Turhan called for brotherhood and stated that unwanted images and events took place during the match.
"Sport is for friendship and brotherhood. The events must come to an end immediately, the perpetrators of the attack must be punished before the judicial authorities, and the sister cities must be brought together and clamped. This is primarily the duty of the competent authorities, then all of us. We would like to state once again that; racism doesn't help anyone. The only solution is brotherhood!" Turhan said.
