The traditional iftar program of the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) Adana Branch was held the other day. Iftar, which was held in street fast-breaking format, was held with tables set up on the street from the entrance of AGD Adana Branch. AGD and MGV Chairman Salih Turhan, AGD Adana Branch Chairman Enes Beyaz and Saadet Party Adana Provincial Chairman Hasan Şaybak, as well as representatives of political parties and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), attended the fast-breaking fast.
“SAHUR AND IFTAR ARE BLESSINGS OF ISLAM”
Addressing the Adana residents who attended the fast-breaking program, AGD and MGV Chairman Salih Turhan drew attention to the importance of the work of the National Youth and said, “It is very important that such an iftar program is organized differently from other non-governmental organizations in Adana. It is one of the blessings of Islam that Muslims gather at the time of sahur and iftar. The fact that the word sahur is derived from the word seher and that iftar takes place in many hadiths certainly has a meaning. May Allah Almighty grant us to understand the meaning and importance of Ramadan.”
“WE DON'T LEAVE OUR YOUTH ALONE”
AGD Adana Branch President Enes Beyaz, who made a speech at the fast-breaking dinner, said, “I would like to thank everyone, especially our Chairman Salih Turhan, who attended our invitation. As AGD, we are working to bring our Adana to the point it deserves, we do not leave our young people alone. May Allah Almighty enable us to carry out better, more efficient and more effective work with these iftars we have made."
