The Conquest of Mecca program, organized by the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) every year all over Turkey, will be held with the Jerusalem Night format this year.
AGD Adana Branch also held a press release regarding the Conquest of Mecca and Jerusalem Night program.
With the press release made by AGD Adana Branch Organization President Cuma Şahin, all Adana residents were invited to the Conquest of Mecca and Jerusalem Night programs organized by AGD's provincial and district representatives.
“WE AIM TO EQUIPPING THE SPIRIT OF CONQUEST”
Drawing attention to the oppression in Gaza in the press release, AGD Adana Branch Organization President Cuma Şahin then shared details about the program.
"As members of the Anatolian Youth Association, we have been organizing the Conquest of Mecca Program at hundreds of locations all over Turkey on the night of December 31st for years. This year, we will organize it at hundreds of locations under the name of Conquest of Mecca and Jerusalem Night. As it is known, Mecca, the city where the first building on earth, the Kaaba, is located, was conquered by the Islamic armies in January 630. While organizing these programs, we are concerned with embodying the spirit of conquest rather than talking about the Hijri-Gregorian anniversary of the conquest or the chronology of the conquest," Şahin said.

Emphasizing conquest, Cuma Şahin said, "Conquest; It is the meeting of man with mercy and justice. Conquest is a requirement of being human, of being made a caliph, of shouldering a burden that the mountains hesitate to bear, and of promising to serve. Conquest is not just the result of an expedition for the domination of right; On the contrary, it is the ability to go on that expedition. As members of the Anatolian Youth Association, we believe that the foundation of this geography is Islam, and that the spirit of conquest is what makes these lands our home. In order to experience the spirit and feeling of conquest together and to understand its meaning, we invite all our people to our 'Conquest of Mecca and Jerusalem Night' programs, which will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 19.30 at the Menderes indoor sports hall."
