ISRAEL COMPANIES HAVE SIGNAGES

Prof. Dr. Kudret Özersay, Chairman of the People's Party, who connected to the program on ADA TV by phone following the decision taken by the Council of Ministers on July 25, 2023, made some statements regarding the issue.

He informed that in the Alagadi Region, which has been declared as a Special Environmental Protection Area by the decision of the Council of Ministers, some parcels are fenced and there are constructions with foreign (Israeli) company signboards on them.

In addition, Özersay mentioned that the expression of “country realities” in the aforementioned Council of Ministers decision should be explained to the public by the Minister of Tourism.

On the other hand, Özersay pointed out that there are allegations and discourses that bribes were taken on the subject.

Occupied by Zionists

According to the TRNC company records, Israeli or Zionist affiliates have purchased a significant amount of land in Cyprus. In the land purchase announced by Milli Gazete with many headlines, 25 thousand decares of land has been acquired so far.

While it has been revealed that approximately 2 thousand companies in the TRNC have Israeli shareholders, it is stated that the land purchased so far is 25 thousand acres. It is also stated that most of the lands purchased by the Israeli regime, which has quietly occupied Cyprus step by step, are agricultural lands.

"WHAT DO YOU GET IN ORDER?"

Kudret Özersay also shared the following on the Facebook social networking page:

"The Council of Ministers made an approval today! They made a new mapping, citing 'COUNTRY FACTS', within the area declared as Special Environmental Protection Area in Alagadi by the sea, and allowed construction ONLY ON CERTAIN PLOTS. Some of these carefully selected parcels have pre-built (possibly unauthorized) villas, while others are EMPTY PLOTs, but soon some foreign companies are starting construction there, the signs have been nailed. Obviously, some parcels were well received for EMOTIONAL REASONS, which occurred by touching and rubbing the index finger and thumb of the right hand! To whom, why and for what? What do you mean by 'country facts'?"

ODD STATEMENT FROM THE MINISTRY

Following Özersay's statements, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment also issued a statement on the subject. On the website of the Ministry, Özersay was answered under the title of "The Statement Made by the Scientific Advisory Board that Prepared the Alagadi Special Environmental Protection Area 2023 Revised Management Plan".

However, in the statement published on the ministry's website, Özersay's questions were not answered.

CLAIMS OF BRIBERY

While Özersay said that the expression of “country facts” in the aforementioned Council of Ministers decision should be explained to the public by the Minister of Tourism, he also pointed out that there are allegations of bribery on the subject.
