Istanbul, defined by our Milli Görüş Movement late leader Prof. Dr. Necmettin Erbakan as the "capital of the world", is counting the days to achieve the municipality approach it longs for.
In the program held at Lütfi Kırdar International Congress and Exhibition Center, where Saadet Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality presidential candidate Birol Aydın was introduced to the public, Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu gave a speech in which he emphasized the importance of National Vision municipalism.
“WE RECITE BASMALA AND ROLL UP OUR SLEEVES”
Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu, in his speech at the candidate promotion meeting, stated that they took the step by saying "Bismillah" and used the following expressions:
"In the presence of Abu Ayyoub al-Ansari, we recite the Bismillah and roll up our sleeves. When we create a livable Istanbul, rest assured that we will have taken an important step towards a livable Turkey. I think this will be the first step towards the establishment of a great Turkey and a new world. Our Istanbul and our country are going through a very critical period. In order to create the Istanbul that everyone longs for and likes, we need a change of mentality from justice to education, from foreign policy to economy."
“WE WILL MAKE WASTE AND CORRUPTION A HISTORY”
Temel Karamollaoğlu also touched upon the Saadet Party's understanding of municipalism and said, "Thieves and brazen people cannot enter National Vision municipalities. God willing, not a morsel of orphan rights will pass through the crop of our mayors. With this understanding, we will make waste and corruption a thing of the past. We will spend public money again. We will never allow anyone to get rich from the municipal coffers."
“ISTANBUL WAS SYSTEMATICALLY POLLUTED”
Referring to the problems of Istanbul in his speech, Saadet Party Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor candidate and Istanbul Deputy Birol Aydın said, "Istanbul was polluted. Istanbul has been systematically polluted. Istanbul has become a misty, dark and anxious metropolis where people are unhappy, families cannot find peace, drugs and prostitution have unfortunately taken over some districts, and poverty and waste are intertwined. Istanbul has become a difficult race track where the housing crisis crushes people of all ages, where our elderly people who cannot make ends meet sell lemons at the exit of the mosque and tissues at the exit of the subway, where even working as a husband and wife is not enough to support a household, where raising and educating children has become a problem in itself."
“We want to reintroduce our Istanbul to the spirit of 94”
Saadet Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Ömer Faruk Yazıcı, who revealed the difference of Milli Görüş municipalism by giving a speech in the program, said, "Our desire, our desire, the ideal we pursue are very clear: We want to gift Milli Görüş municipality to this nation again. We want to reintroduce our Istanbul to the spirit of 94, we want to make Istanbul a city full of peace, tranquility and abundance with Milli Görüş municipalism. That's why we said in our campaign; Come on now, Milli Görüş municipalism."
