At the workshops established within the IMM Directorate of Youth and Sports, trainings that form the basis of technology production are given to children and youth living in Istanbul. The workshops, implemented in cooperation with IMM and Boğaziçi University, ensure that talents in this field are discovered and revealed, and children and young people are encouraged to produce technology. An exam will be held on September 24-25 for the semester of the workshop, where 1,320 students will be accepted. Exam applications will start on September 5 on the website of teknolojiatolyeleri.ibb.istanbul.
THEY WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 8-MONTH WORK PROGRAM
Various trainings will be given by 48 trainers at the Technology Workshops organized by IMM. Within the scope of the curriculum created by Boğaziçi University, 4 months of computer-free computer science activities, computer game design and development, graphic design and production trainings will be given to 4th and 5th grade students as of October. On the other hand, 6th, 7th, 9th and 10th grade students they will be involved in programming and coding, mobile application development, graphic design, artificial intelligence, robotics applications and project development trainings for 8 months.
