Former Mufti of Suşehri Yaşar Kaşkaya, who allegedly hindered the work of Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) in the Suşehri district of Sivas and caused various difficulties to the AGD member Diyanet personnel, was appointed to Europe. The appointment of Mufti Kaşkaya to Europe by the Presidency of Religious Affairs (DIB), almost as if he were rewarded, was the subject of criticism.
INSTEAD OF HALALIZATION, SUITED FOR DAMAGES
Former Mufti of Suşehri, Yaşar Kaşkaya, took the Milli Gazete to court instead of dealing with the mobbing allegations after the publication of our news and correcting the injustices in which his name was implicated. Kaşkaya, who filed a lawsuit for compensation of 100,000 Turkish Liras (TL) against our newspaper, still insists on his mistake. Muhammed Emin Erbakan, who was the representative of the Anatolian Youth Association (AGD) in Sivas Suşehri and served as a muezzin at the Suşehri Şahinler Mosque at the time the news was made, had been exiled to a desolate village far from the city center, with very difficult living conditions, due to his active work in AGD. Former Mufti Yaşar Kaşkaya, persistently ignored Şahinler Mosque congregation’s objections and positive statements about the muezzin Erbakan.
