Unfortunately, the world has very quickly forgotten the heavy consequences of wars in which millions of innocent people lost their lives for the sake of power struggle, political decisions and ideological confrontations. We have compiled the last two centuries, the bloodiest and deadliest period in human history, with a series of articles on 'Wars in the 20th and 21st Centuries'. In the series of articles we prepared for our readers as Milli Gazete, we examined the heavy losses suffered as a result of wars, internal turmoil, struggles for independence and revolutions.

We compiled the balance sheet of the Arab Spring and the American occupation in Iraq in the third part of the article series on ‘Wars in the 20th and 21st Centuries’, which we prepared about the recent wars full of death, cruelty and drama. While the 11-year-long American occupation of Iraq was not over yet, with the Arab Spring that started in 2011, it became clearer that the West would not recognize borders for its own interests. It has cost the lives of millions of Muslims and caused millions of Muslims to migrate. The effects of the Arab Spring and the occupation of Iraq continue to this day.

In the third part of the series of articles on ‘Wars in the 20th and 21st Centuries’ we prepared on the most painful periods of the world, we compiled the results of the Arab Spring and the American occupation in Iraq. The destruction caused by the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the Arab Spring, which started in 2011, in the Islamic geography contains the greatest tragedies in the history of humanity. The US invasion of Iraq, which was watched live on television, caused the martyrdom of more than 1 million civil Muslims, the emigration of millions of Iraqis, and the committing of many war crimes. While the 11-year American occupation of Iraq has not yet ended, the Arab Spring that started in 2011 continues to this day with destruction, tears and cruelty. The atrocities in Syria, where more than 500,000 Muslims were martyred, Egypt where thousands of Muslim Brotherhood members languished in dungeons, Libya where the threat of civil war continues, and many other Arab countries show the insidious face of the West.

AMERICA'S INVASION OF IRAQ: 1 MILLION MARTYRS 5 MILLION REFUGEES

The world has witnessed larger invasions than Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In 2003, the United States (US) and its allied forces invaded Iraq under the pretext of ‘democracy’. The American occupation, which lasted exactly 11 years and still continues, caused the martyrdom of more than 1 million Muslims and the emigration of approximately 5 million Iraqis. The inhuman behavior of the American soldiers and the silence of the world during the occupation, where the greatest dramas of the Islamic world were experienced, revealed the ugliest face of the war. While the internal turmoil continues in Iraq, where Western states still have not withdrawn their hand over terrorist organizations, the destruction caused by the United States in the Middle East in 11 years has not yet been held accountable.

THE BLEEDING WOUND OF THE ARAB SPRING: SYRIA

The bloodiest consequences of the Arab Spring, which started in Muslim countries after the special efforts and provocations of the West, are in Syria, continues to live. The Syrian civil war, which has been going on since 2011, has claimed the lives of more than 500,000 Muslim civilians, while approximately 10 million Syrian have become refugees. Western powers, especially America and Russia, that turned Syria into a bloodbath for their own interests, continue to persecute Muslims today with the terrorist organizations they support. While it is not known when the political instability and internal turmoil that has been going on in Syria for 11 years will end, the situation of millions of Syrians remains uncertain.

THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ARAB SPRING UNDERSTANDED IN EGYPT

The Western states, which started a movement to bring Muslims into line under the name of the Arab Spring, showed how far they could go with the injustices they initiated in Egypt. During the period when the Muslim Brotherhood, who won the elections in Egypt, was subjected to many attacks, the Western states that supported the putschist Sisi administration caused serious destruction. In the series of events that imprisoned Egypt's first elected president, Mohammed Morsi, and thousands of members of the Muslim Brotherhood and killed tens of thousands of innocent Egyptians, it was understood that the main purpose of the Arab Spring was to cause instability in the Islamic geography. In Egypt, where many members of the Muslim Brotherhood are still on death row, the wounds inflicted by the Arab Spring 11 years ago have not yet been healed.

NOT THE ARAB SPRING, "WEST OPPRESSION"

The Arab Spring, whose fuse was ignited in Tunisia on December 17, 2010, was a systematic persecution project initiated in the Islamic geography under the pretext of ‘democracy’ in line with the interests of the West. The Arab Spring fever, which, in turn, spread to Algeria, Lebanon, Mauritania, Jordan, Sudan, Oman, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Djibouti, Morocco, Iraq, Bahrain, Iran, Libya, Kuwait and Western Sahara, caused great internal turmoil and civil wars. The Arab Spring process, in which the country's leaders were lynched to their people, coups were carried out, and many crimes against humanity were committed, still continues. As a result of the Arab Spring process, organized by the agents of Western states on social media with the titles of freedom, modernity and democracy, it cost the lives of approximately 100,000 Muslims, excluding Egypt and Syria.
