No matter what anyone says, our country entered the election atmosphere with the statements made one after another and the fast traffic of the leaders. The economic crisis in the country, the cost of living, etc. If the evaluation is made by leaving aside the postponement of the election due to reasons such as the election becoming compulsory or the possible operation to Syria;

First of all, it is said that although the President, who is the main determinant of the election and the first actor on the agenda, has announced his candidacy, he has "completed two terms", therefore he cannot be a candidate, and to overcome this, elections can be held in April 2023 at the latest.

The strange thing is that no one remembers the two-term rule. This situation must be an indication that the law and constitutional provisions are not given much attention in the country. It would also be naive to expect someone who is not sure that he will abide by the rule he has set, to make a sound decision about the election.

'HOW MANY TERMS' CONCERN

On the other hand, there is a belief that with the constitutional amendment in 2018, the President's previous position is a thing of the past, his current term is the first term, so there is no obstacle to his re-election. For this reason, the public expects that there will be no such thing as an early election and that the ballot box will be put before the nation in June 2023. As it turns out, the opposition wing is not bothered by Erdogan's re-candidacy, with the idea that "worn out opponent is preferable".

Here, the attitude of the AKP's partner MHP, the unofficial partner of the government, will be largely decisive. With the reference to the "second period" a while ago, it is understood that the decision on this issue has not been made completely or it will be used as a trump card against the partner.

These are the other things to mention, let's get to the most important aspect of the issue. Of course, the parliamentary election and the presidential election will take place together. Tens, even hundreds of candidates for parliamentary candidates will emerge in all provinces. Ultimately, 600 deputies will be elected, political parties will announce their programs, etc. So many deputies in a one-man system is a different freak, that's another issue.

NOMINATION PROCESS

However, despite all this, the most important issue of interest in the process is who will be the joint presidential candidate of the alliance blocs.

Today, the candidate of the People's Alliance will be Erdoğan, unless there is a sudden change due to a natural reason such as a health problem or a legal obstacle such as a third term candidacy.

The main reason for many of the deadlocks in our country today is the existence of a management approach that has the logic of "I did it and it's done" with the authority given by the laws. There is a need for an understanding and a change of mindset that will enable Turkey's different voices and involve them in the process.

Here, rather than who the candidate will be, how the system will work, how the rules will be sustainable, how the institutions will be built, and how the common management consensus culture/factors can be ensured are the primary problems to be solved. In other words; Whoever comes to power with this authority, it is inevitable that worse problems will be encountered.

No matter who the president is or whoever wins, an established system, rules and institutions that will not allow arbitrary practices are necessary.

The current system in our country; He is faced with the case that those who came to power put the person in the place of the state, the administration turned into a party state and turned into a family business.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE CANDIDATE, THE SYSTEM

Six table in line with this principle; It has come together in line with the strategies of acting with a common mind and offering solutions against the deficiencies and harms of the current system. The purpose of its establishment is to bring our country to the level of contemporary civilizations by bringing together different voices and masses on a single common ground and combining it with the country's fundamental riches.

Undoubtedly, all the general presidents around the six-point table are qualified to perform the duty of presidency properly. However, since only one name will be a candidate, the supporters of all formations, stakeholders and those involved in the process will comply and support the decision that will come out of the table.

If the candidate does not leave this table, an external name will be sought. It can be a surprise name like in the past, or it can be one of the names known to the public.

Although it is predicted that the election will be held on time, it should not be forgotten that the AK Party will say that there is an election 45 days after the Nation Alliance can not gather with a dominant decision.

Who will be the most curious presidential candidate in the country. An early announcement will not only cause the candidate to wear out, but will also give the candidate the opportunity to defend himself. In the process, the solution proposals, reports, ideas, predictions and roadmap that will be revealed by the commissions formed by the table will be decisive. However, this does not mean that the election will be won. Elections are won by campaigning and at the ballot box.
