With the effect of the epidemic process, Ramadan, which has been experienced in previous years and has passed at a busy pace, this year is more calm and stable.

Curfew restrictions pose a great obstacle to social cohesion and the conscious realization of Ramadan.

It is seen that this problem will deepen when we include the holiday. This month is the period when people get closer to each other with the awareness of worship, they are treated psychologically and physically, and the social aspect of Islam comes to the fore.

SOCIAL ABYSS

With this feeling of loneliness that spoils the psychology of people, life ends and the perception of time and space is lost.

This is the state of introversion in the process we live in - complete closure - which alienates the segments with different economic conditions from each other even more.

Worships that eliminate the gap between the rich and the poor gradually lose their meaning.

This meaninglessness not only suppresses the individual but also spreads to the whole society and causes deep degeneration and social depressions with the effect of technology.

At this point, the importance of prayers such as zakat and charity that contribute materially and spiritually to the social order and spread prosperity to the base is better understood.

These prayers, which are very valuable in terms of ensuring social justice, also constitute a great barrier to social and individual crises. It is clear that the social state understanding has been seriously damaged.

During the epidemic process, the authorities failed to take the necessary precautions and exhibited an example of bad management.

Considering the deepening of financial difficulties and the fact that a large part of the society lives on the border of hunger, it is an inevitable consequence that the crime rates increase and as a result, it will be reflected in suicide cases.

Increasing such tragic events also deteriorate the morale and motivation of the society. It should be known that Islam; It contains orders and prohibitions that will make society and individuals happy and peaceful.

THE FINAL POINT OF EXTENUATION: SUICIDE

In the process, some results that do not fit the spirit of Ramadan emerge. Contrary to expectations, individual loneliness is increasing and social conscience and solidarity are disappearing. Finally; The increase in suicide incidents during Ramadan must be a result of this.

Suicide, that is, ending one's own life; it is the end point of burnout for a person. Although the researches reveal the existence of many reasons, it is understood from the reflections on social media and the notes left by those who do this, it is understood that there are basically two reasons for suicide. The first reason is the psychology of loneliness, the second is the economic reasons.

For this, an action plan must be put forward and measures must be taken urgently. Because almost every day many people have started to resort to this action for similar reasons.

Although it is said that suicide has a contagious aspect, the reasons that push people to this should be investigated. The new type of life style that emerged with the effect of urbanization causes people to become withdrawn in the society, thus the “loneliness syndrome in the crowds” emerges.

We have no words to say that the supporters think / present suicides as a kind of protest against the government. We are where word / humanity ends.

WE MUST RETURN TO THE SPIRIT OF RAMADAN

At this point, the main duty of Muslims is to compete in solidarity, strengthen brotherly ties, increase communication, neighborliness, and not to remain indifferent to society's cry for help by exhibiting behaviors that will increase our good behaviors such as taking care of orphans and orphans.

With the motto "Let the people live so that the state lives"; We should raise awareness at this point with the warning that Muslims are parts of a body and that if one of these limbs is damaged, the whole body will be affected.

If any Muslim commits suicide for any reason in the region where the ummah of a Prophet (PBUH) who says "He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry", this shame and sin is enough for all of us.
