The second "Family Conference" of the Association of Religious Officials (Din-Bir-Der) was held. At the conference, where Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan was a guest, the issue of attacks against the family was discussed. In the "Family Conference" program held online, Din-Bir-Der Chairman Muhittin Hamdi Yıldırım called for the attacks on the family institution to continue and that we should protect the family against these attacks. The Chairman of the Madrasah Scholars Foundation (MEDAV), Muhammed Tayyip Elçi, pointed out that the family is the core and stronghold of the society.

Din-Bir-Der Chairman Muhittin Hamdi Yıldırım, who called on teachers to make programs on family all over Turkey, said, "While we were trying to save the world, the devil haunted our family. I invite all our teachers to make a family program. There are great attacks before marriage without a family, families are vilified."

Stating that global capital supports population reduction projects in the world, Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan underlined that a global study for the family has been put into use, a project to reduce the world's population has been carried out by international organizations and they have achieved success in their projects in European countries, "Global capital has now started a population reduction project all over the world. I will never forget, we had a group of friends. He brought a project about addiction. There is also the issue of family, when we look at who supports this project, it was the United Nations Population Planning Fund. This fund advocates for global gender inequality. They were successful in Northern Europe," he said.

PROJECTS WERE SUCCESSFUL IN EUROPE

Noting that the rates of births out of wedlock have increased in Europe and Turkey, Tarhan called for precautions to be taken.

"According to the report on birth rates out of wedlock, 2.9 percent in Turkey, 54.9 percent in Sweden, 56.2 percent in Norway, 47.7 percent in England and 59 percent in France. For this reason, children do not use the word mother, instead of parents, one parent and two parents are written on their identity cards. Marriage rates in Turkey increased by 1.6 percent between 2001 and 2018. but there is also a 54.8% increase in divorce rates. The discourses of feminism and gender equality that emerged in the West also affect segments with Islamic sensitivities. For this reason, anti-family laws are enacted without any hindrance or discussion," he added.

Stating that according to statistics, Turkey is inclined towards what is happening in Northern Europe, Tarhan said, "There are research results showing that single person households increased between 1994 and 2016 in Turkey. If the mental transformation in this direction continues, if the anti-marriage movements continue to be active in Turkey, unfortunately they do. This is the result that awaits us. If the state accepts this policy, let it be implemented. But if he doesn't agree, let him listen to science and look at statistics. This is the plague. It is more important not to build roads and buildings, but to educate and protect people who will use them."
