Is It An Opportunity?

One of the concepts used in naming the process in the early days of the pandemic was the "dictatorship of bacteria".

It started to be told how a microbe that cannot be seen even with a magnifying glass influenced the world and put people into a fear tunnel.

Today we are talking about "digital dictatorship".

While observing which city and which neighborhood contains a virus threat, the concern that a digital application we gladly use will dominate us.

In fact, everyone is aware that digital has reached a dreaded level of dominance, especially in the last decade, through smartphones and other digital gadgets.

We even learn from them that all these devices used are "footprints".

We are talking about a “sovereign” who informs us on which day we are, reminds us how we feel in the face of any event we see, knows what we like and dislike, and clearly shows us that he knows all these.

The dire thing is that we are the source of all this information he has about us.

We provide all this information with our own consent without any coercion.

Perhaps the question of "actually how much of our own consent" can be asked here. Because, as we have stated before, the age in which we live also has the quality in which consent is produced.

With perception management, the feeling of need, right and wrong choices and more can be brought under control. However, as a result, it is also a reality that the person has a choice.

Therefore, with our own consent, we transfer our area of freedom to the "digital sovereign". For this reason, it is possible for us to be qualified as slaves who think they are free. In fact, we are in a state that does not care about slavery and freedom or cannot comprehend it.

It is precisely Akif's saying; "No feeling, no movement, no pain… Have you been killed? You give me charity… You weren't like that”.

Again, this is the kind of situation that justifies Byung Chul Han's "audience democracy" discourse. Chul Han says that the electorate becomes the consumer, becomes passive in politics, and when the voters are like this, politicians turn into “suppliers”.

Politicians who try to persuade their consumer addressees or customers emerge. A politics based on intellectual foundations is replaced by populist rhetoric, and politicians who know business are replaced by verbal "policy traders" who can act well.

Those who preach that nothing can be the same as before, those who claim that there are new alphabetic generations that are difficult to control, those who think that new politics should be adapted ...

The list goes on and on ...

The fact that we are going through a truly new process and living in a world surrounded by complex relationships is a fact that needs to be determined.

However, it should be added that this process has the potential to develop new reactions. Humanity, which has surrendered to the "digital sovereign" with its own hands, is now afraid that its free will will be taken away at the end of the process.

I think this fear can be a harbinger of new reactions.

For the sake of the lure of desires, lust, admiration, appreciation, and even forgiveness, humanity may stop hiding its "special" for the sake of putting its free will under a forced mortgage!

Because the biggest power of today's "digital sovereign"; It came from the success of establishing non-coercive voluntary domination.

But today the concept of digital dictatorship is spreading by word of mouth, and the number of those uncomfortable with the process is increasing.

In his famous expression, there is "fugitive" where there is a border and "resistance" where there is power. At the same time, the arrival of a forced domination will herald that the racist imperialists and Zionists, who subvert the world with digital domination, are also facing difficulties.
