The pandemic process made it possible to witness unfamiliar developments all over the world.

In the age we live in, it has been seen that "what happened in Wuhan does not stay in Wuhan" and even spreading in waves and influencing the whole world.

It has been seen that the capacity of the circles of bankruptcy and corruption that threaten humanity to put into effect a global plan is not "conspiracy theory" but a bitter truth.

It was disturbingly felt that humanity was actually forced to live in the open air prison established by racist imperialists, in the conditions they wanted.

The reason it causes discomfort; It stems from the fact that it is obvious how a deadlock has been entered into, that one is tied.

It is one thing to guess that one is being followed, and another thing to know that you are being followed and to see closely!

Who would have thought that in the bazaar, when visiting relatives, friends and relatives, a mask would be worn, there would be no handshaking!

Whoever sneezes, sneezes and chokes in a crowded environment will be "woe"!

Steps will not be taken without a code number, and there will be no going out without vaccination!

It was difficult to even think about, but a lot of it happened and continues to happen.

In fact, based on technological developments, the production of equipped artificial intelligence robots was mentioned in the future, it was said that this would open the door to a new era.

In the last five decades, the concept of digital sociology has also been used in academic circles in reference to the move towards becoming a digital society.

But very few people probably predicted that the change and transformation, thought to have had time to happen, would happen so quickly.

The pandemic process transformed the world so rapidly that events that were thought to take years to happen suddenly appeared before us.

A significant portion of the people turned into "wired individuals" in the first months of the pandemic. Online meetings, online conversations, e-commerce, virtual shopping have become quite common. No educator could have guessed that distance education would be introduced so quickly.

Spending time in a virtual environment where privacy is eroded and superficial-instant communication is established for a significant part of the 24 hours of the day has become a data confirmed in all researches.

It is known that the use of the internet, wireless networks and social media has increased at a record level. The world became a mood that could not do without wandering in a crowd but lonely while wandering.

It has both become massive and individualized. It started to reveal his privacy in someone else's area, and he became much more sensitive to private life intervention!

I wonder which one is real?

This is exactly what digital sociology needs to address. Because people will build a new social structure with the new habits they acquire while digitalizing.

Will this new construction be the resurrection of the old / tradition that has been postponed or damaged for a while, or will it open a space that has never been experienced until today?

We will see which one will happen in the future, if we have a lifetime. However, the example of what is meant by the resurrection of the old can be given in the field of politics.

Public opinion surveys show that it has become a necessity for political parties to communicate face to face in terms of influencing the political preferences of the voters.

It has been frequently stated that contacting voters through visual campaigns or virtual media alone is deceptive, and voters will turn to political parties or candidates that “touch” them.

It is an issue to be taken into consideration that the individualized individual of the digitalizing world demands "face-to-face communication", which is thought to be a thing of the past today.
