Last week, we talked about the situation in Europe to a certain extent and tried to prove that Islam is the reality and future of Europe through demographic data.

Of course, demographic data alone do not provide an opportunity to make an assessment. However, these data are also important in terms of showing the wide potential of Muslims in Europe.

As a matter of fact, on one side of the photo frame created by these data, there are European societies that become lonely and aging, and on the other side, there is the Muslim society with a young average age.

At this point, we have stated that the effect of migration movements has been much more pronounced for the last half century. In fact, we mentioned that this transformative effect of migration has taken on a much more meaningful form today.

In this sense, it should be noted in parentheses, while millions of Muslim immigrants who came from countries that were shaken by occupation and internal turmoil such as Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan were a fact in terms of determination for Europe, the immigration that came with the Ukraine crisis has turned a European administration in which the Christian immigrant discrimination was prioritized.

However, whatever the positioning of some European politicians, the current demographic parameters clearly demonstrate the potential that Islam and Muslims have in shaping the future of Europe.

So the question to be asked is; How aware of this potential are Muslims living in Europe or what are they doing for it?

First of all, it is necessary to give an answer to this question by giving examples from the period when Milli Gorus pursued effective policies in Europe in the 1980s and 90s.

It is known that Erbakan, who prioritized the qualitative rise of the Muslim society at that time, brought together the representatives of the Muslim communities living in Europe as a whole through the Conferences on European Muslims Issues.

Through these activities, our teacher Erbakan not only activates the potential of Muslims living in Europe, but also shows European societies the way of salvation.

As a matter of fact, we know that our teacher Erbakan frequently stated in these meetings that the bipolar world order is about to collapse, that the West has come to a new crossroads, and that it is a necessity to work together with Muslims for the establishment of a new world at this point.

In short, our teacher Erbakan dealt with the issues with a view that was not influenced by the West, but was under the influence of the West.

In the nearly 30-year period that has passed, not taking steps in this regard and not continuing these activities stand before us as an important handicap.

However, the potential of Muslims is also growing day by day. It is known that significant progress has been made in terms of education and cultural level compared to the past. Therefore, it is not too late to act.

The most important mission of Muslims living in Europe is to make moves that will bring this potential together.

Another issue is that Muslims are visible in every field with their own identities. Muslims, who set an example with their attitudes and behaviors, will be instrumental in Europeans meeting with Islam, while at the same time, they will guide Europeans in establishing a just world in the next step.

In this context, it goes without saying that there is a great need for structures that will function at the point of raising Muslim youth who are equipped with the desired consciousness and consciousness.

At this point, a study published in 2018 actually contains important clues. Because, in this research conducted in 15 European countries, an important detail comes to the fore when investigating the perceptions of the participants about Islam.

Accordingly, participants who say that they know at least one Muslim personally have more positive views about Muslims and Islam.

For example, in countries such as Hungary, Italy, and Poland where the Muslim population is relatively low, the negative view of Muslims is almost 70%, while in Western European countries where the Muslim population is concentrated, this rate drops to the order of 20%.

Therefore, it is almost a necessity for Muslims to become visible in all areas and to be aware that they are in the representative office.

The fact that the Muslims in Europe, who live in relatively better opportunities compared to the Muslims of the world today, struggle more than anyone else, should also be seen as a necessity of gratitude for this great blessing.
