Birol Aydın, Spokesperson of the Saadet Party, stated that President Erdoğan forgot his responsibility for being the president and said, "When was the last time Erdoğan acted as the President of the Republic of Turkey, not the Chairman of the Justice and Development Party (AKP)?" he asked.
Referring to the developments in the economy, Aydın stated that they are working on their lessons as the Saadet Party, "Now it is time for this government to be given a certificate of approval by our nation," Aydın added.
Aydın said, “We know very well the problems of our country, what they are caused by and how to solve them quickly. With our knowledge and experience, with an understanding that attaches importance to common wisdom and consultation, we will decisively take the steps that will bring a sigh of relief to our country and make our people smile.”

At the meeting held at the party headquarters, Aydın talked about the economic policy of the government and made related warnings. Saying that the government could not fulfill its responsibilities to be in power, Aydın said that the government closed its eyes to all warnings and criticisms. Stating that the government is stubborn about wrong policies, “The AKP is the ruling party; Erdogan, too, forgets that he has been in power alone for 20 years and that he carries the responsibility of the President on his shoulders today. We ask and we truly wonder; When was the last time Erdogan acted as the President of the Republic of Turkey and not the Chairman of the AKP? Unfortunately, instead of being the President of 85 million people, Erdogan prioritizes being the leader of a political party and the big partner of an alliance, and he deliberately and willingly prefers this," Aydın added.
THE POWER CANNOT PASS THE ECONOMY EXAM!
Aydın issued the AKP's economic report card and criticized the inflation, budget, current account deficit, foreign currency debt and country credit risk premium. Stating that the country is running towards hyperinflation and inflation in the country out of control Aydın said: "Even though Erdogan is now pointing to February-March 2023 for recovery, it is clear that with this understanding, they will not pass this course in the make-up exam they will take at that time! The budget prepared by the government was garbage in six months. For the first time in the history of the Republic, an additional budget of the size of a budget was made. Budget deficits are increasing exponentially. The budget deficit, which was 4,6 billion Turkish Liras (TL) in 2006, increased to 201,5 billion TL according to the realizations of 2021. In other words, the budget deficit has increased 60 times in 15 years! This government has undertaken the Turkish dealership of the interest lobby. The Central Bank, which has exhausted its foreign exchange reserves, is just watching this danger, defenseless, with its bullets exhausted. The country credit risk premium (CDS), which affects the country's borrowing cost and its credibility in foreign financial markets, exceeds a new bad level every day.”
THE PRESIDENT FORGETS HIS RESPONSIBILITIES
Emphasizing that his report card of the government is not encouraging at all, “Only these titles show that; Those who claim that they 'wrote the book of economics' have not read a single line of any economics book, nor have they learned any lessons from those who read it! And it seems that; They have no intention of reading. Because it is a pity that those in power 'do not know what they do not know', and that is the worst thing! We don't have time to take a look at the other courses of the economics title, and the report cards on other topics, from agriculture to health, from foreign policy to education... 20 years of AKP rule, most of them were absent, never took the class, gave a blank paper or scored a zero in the exam... Their report cards are dire, the excuses they found and made up a lot are even worse... But now it's time to give this government a certificate of approval by our nation... Our people is fed up with making excuses for failing in the class of this unsuccessful government constantly,” Aydın added.
“WE KNOW THE PROBLEMS OF THE COUNTRY VERY WELL”
Underlining that they are studying their lessons as the Saadet Party, Aydın said, “We know very well the problems of our country, what they stem from and how they will be solved quickly. With our knowledge and experience, with an understanding that attaches importance to common wisdom and consultation, we will decisively take the steps that will bring a sigh of relief to our country and make our people smile. Turkey is a big country. It also has a great potential with its facilities and resources. As long as people with qualifications and merits come to work and make an effort with the right approach and sincerity... As long as the understanding that says 'first me, then my close circle, then my party, my country last' comes to an end! We have a promise to our nation: We will end this understanding together!”
