Blinken, who held contacts in Nigeria as part of his African tour, gave the message in his statement to the press that they, as the USA, are ready to cooperate to ensure regional security and stability.
Blinken stated that although Wagner provided security support to some African countries, security problems in these countries have increased further.
Blinken stated that Wagner, which operates in some parts of Africa, was one of the first actors to take steps to provide military support to Niger after the coup.
"You see people and resources being exploited by Wagner. However, as the United States, we work to support our partners as they seek to find effective ways to combat security challenges," Blinken said.
Blinken gave the message that the USA is ready to cooperate on issues such as intelligence sharing and technical equipment support for regional security, and emphasized that they focus on the security of citizens along with local people.
Antony Blinken noted that they have a comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of security forces in African countries.
Blinken, who previously visited Cabo Verde and Ivory Coast as part of his Africa trip, will go to Angola after Nigeria.
