US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who came to Israel to get Zionist Israel out of the trap that was caught in the "Aqsa Flood" initiated by the Qassam Brigades on October 7, showed his side by saying, "I am here as a Jew."

In his last statement, Blinken argued that Israel, which murdered tens of thousands of innocent people, did not commit genocide.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken condemned the Republic of South Africa's filing of a "genocide" case against Israel at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and argued that the case was "unfair".

After his meetings with the countries in the region, Blinken visited Israel, which continues to violate international law in the Palestinian territories, and met with the authorities, and made statements on the subject in Tel Aviv.

Condemning the case filed against Israel, Blinken said that the Joe Biden administration believes that the case "distracts the world's attention" from efforts such as ensuring the security of the hostages held by HAMAS, finding a solution to the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, and preventing the spread of the conflict.

Pointing to the case in question, Blinken claimed, "Moreover, the accusation of genocide is unfair."

While the Biden administration took a harsh stance against South Africa's "genocide" accusations against Israel, White House National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby also described the case as "unfair" on January 3.

SOUTH AFRICA FILED A GENOCIDE CASE AGAINST ISRAEL

The Republic of South Africa, on December 29, 2023, on the grounds that Israel violated the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide with the actions it has committed in Gaza since October 7, filed a lawsuit at the International Court of Justice and requested an interim injunction for Israel.

The application stated that "Israel's actions and omissions are genocidal because they were committed with the specific intent of genocide," and it was emphasized that the actions were aimed at "destroying the Palestinians in Gaza."

The hearing of the "genocide" case filed by South Africa against Israel is expected to be held on January 11-12.
