The process of moving the Central Bank (MB) from Ankara to Istanbul has begun.

MB, which is planned to be moved to the Financial Center in Ataşehir under normal conditions, will temporarily serve in another building due to the ongoing construction.

MB management, which started to move from Ankara even though the construction was not finished, first kept a temporary office in Fenerbahçe.

It was learned that upon the reactions from the staff and their families who rented a house in the Ataşehir region, besides Fenerbahçe, they also held an office in Ataşehir Ulugöl Plaza.

While it is still unclear why the decision to move was made while the construction works of its own building continue, tens of MB personnel find the solution to resign due to not being able to see ahead and lack of planning.

YOUNG STAFF ARE GOING ABROAD BY RESIGNING

It has been stated that the rights of the personnel who want to use their paid and unpaid leave rights until the relocation process is completed were deprived of their rights, and it was learned that the personnel started to resign due to operational problems.

It was learned that about 100 people resigned during the process of moving from Ankara to Istanbul, while the priorities of those who resigned were abroad.

While it is noteworthy that those who resigned are mostly 3-4 years old, it is stated that those who are short of retirement will continue to work out of necessity.

The resignation of young people and their migration abroad led to comments that "brain drain began in the Center after the engineers and doctors".
